There is something I have been too afraid to say out loud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For years I prayed (25 Year’s Now).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not for luxury.
Not for mansions.
Not for fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I prayed for justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justice for my parents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justice for what was taken from us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justice for years of work that disappeared into the hands of dishonest people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Justice for every promise that never arrived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And Heaven remained silent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
People tell me, “God is good.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t argue with them anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I simply wonder why I have struggled so hard to find that goodness in my own life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were days when I had no money.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Days when I had no answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Days when I felt completely alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I kept praying because I didn’t know what else to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes I believed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes I borrowed Job’s faith because I couldn’t find my own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes I simply survived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For a long time I thought God had abandoned me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maybe He had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maybe He hadn’t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I honestly don’t know anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But something unexpected happened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While I was waiting for justice, I began discovering truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Truth about people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Truth about greed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Truth about manipulation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Truth about myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And the more truth I found, the more I realised something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The greatest thing that had ever been stolen from me wasn’t only money, a wife and child to be or my career at 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Knowledge restores power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Truth restores freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Perhaps that is where my rebuilding begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I still don’t have all the answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I still don’t understand why my road has been so difficult.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I still hope that justice will one day arrive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But today I no longer measure God’s presence only by whether my prayers are answered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I measure it by whether suffering has made me wiser instead of bitter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My name is Job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am still asking difficult questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am still searching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
